HELP!!! Im having a beach wedding this fall walking out on the sand. I want a aisle runner but not sure what kind of material to use. Paper, plastic, bambo or satin? I am wanting to DIY to save money to do the monogramming with rhinestones and acrylic paint but all I see are people doin the see through kind of material by not sure if it is sand friendly..Once wedding is over it will be framed.
If I printed out letting using my comp and printer, can it be seen through satin? If I used acrylic paint on satin does it bleed?
So clueless on this wedding project

I’m not sure if any runner will be ‘beach-friendly’. I can’t imagine it sitting flat on the sand, not getting caught or tripped over and wouldn’t it sink in everytime someone steps on it? Just some considerations for you.

I am not sure that a full aisle runner will work well on the sand to be honest. I would only line the edges b/c I think you would sink into it when you begin to walk
Something like this would be pretty and less work than making an entire runner and also make it easier for you to walk on!
I actually had a runner made from silk petals but I got married on a tile rooftop so it wasn’t hard to walk on….this was mine for reference:
