Recently I purchased a cloth aisle runner not realizing that it would not work on grass as I’m getting married at a golf course.
Any ideas on how I can remedy this? I really would like an aisle runner so I can wear my train down but not get it dirty. I heard that it gets trampled on and wrinkly.

beetobee255: I believe you are supposed to use something hard on grass. Otherwise you will tear the runner.

Just something to consider. I was concerned about taking my photos before my ceremony because my gown was going to get dirty. Then I realized that a wedding gown is pretty much a one-time wear garment & that a train drags on the ground. my point is that it’s going to get dirty either way! I wouldn’t worry about it!

I would definitely not use any type of fabric runner. You can scatter petals or do things along the edges of the aisle, but neither of those options will help with keeping your dress clean. Honestly, I’d just not worry about a little dirt unless you’re planning to try to resell yiur dress.
