When are you going to roll the aisle runner out? I’m not sure if I want the entire bridal party walking on it or just myself. The Fiance and I worked on it for over 20 hours (not all at once) and I’m not sure If I just want to use it for two minutes.
What are/did you do?

Ours was rolled out the whole time, but we had the entire aisle blocked with ribbon until the ceremony started since I did not want the guests walking on the aisle runner.
Since you worked so hard on yours, I would definitely say have it rolled out for everyone to see, but block it off so nobody walks on it but you and the bridal party!

The only problem with that is, the church is so small.

@out4answers: But there must be room for everyone to walk up the outside of the aisles, no? I feel like it would be a fire hazard otherwise or something. Definitely look into it! I totally get not wanting everyone tromping around on your hard work, but unrolling it and getting it to lay properly without any bunches, etc. is more of a backstage job that you probably won’t want to do with everyone sitting there watching, if you can avoid it.

Two groomsmen rolled out our aisle runner after the moms and grandmas had been seated but before the bridesmaids began their processional.
