I want to play Louis Amstrong’s La vie en rose. There won’t be a bridal party or long aisle so hopefully the instrumental will be long enough for FI and mom and 2 flowergirls to walk and then I”ll walk to the words. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IJzYAda1wA Other choices would be Stand by Me by Ben E. King (but I think it is too upbeat and will probably be first dance song) or Coming Home by Leon Bridges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTrKkqE9p1o

The bridal party is walking to Zelda Medley by Lindsey Stirling, and I am walking to Neville’s Waltz from Harry Potter.

I’m walking down to an instrumental version of Once Upon a Dream – I’m not a huge Diznut, but I love Aurora and that song has always been a go-to for me. I wanted to do the original Tchaikovsky piece, but it gets too sporadic. The disney version has the perfect melody for me!

We found an album on iTunes called Romantic Wedding Music and it has some traditional and some modern songs done in instrumental. We ended up with Your Song, A Love Song and I walked in to Marry Me (which is originally done by train I think). After I downloaded the versions with lyrics and now they play in my regular music playlist.

FutureMrsBonavia:  Aww yay! We’ve been saying for years that would be our first dance song but since we won’t have a first dance (Jamaican beach ceremony and super casual ‘reception’ bbq back home) we have to find another way to incorporate it

We used the theme song from The Comancheros – outdoor desert wedding in the general location it was filmed, seemed good for us.  As a bonus, it starts soft and formal like a wedding would, but then perks up more like our reality.  If you happen to be getting married somewhere “famous” you might find a good local theme to use.
