So we have always talked about doing a destination wedding, and gradually we have narrowed it down to what we would want to do most which is a wedding cruise to Alaska. We both our outdoor lovers and the snow is our favorite place in the world (he proposed in the snow to!). I’m just wondering if anyone has done this or been to one and how they thought it went. Thanks for any tips!
Bride to be!

I would just be concerned about the cost for your guests to fly to the port and then the extra cost of the cruise if they choose to join you.

My fiance and I have decided to get married on a Caribbean cruise! We’re telling people using the, “Come take a vacation during which we’ll get married, but then you get the rest of your cruise to do whatever you want!” approach. And we’re getting overwhelmingly positive responses.
A few things I’ve learned in my research:
1) If you’d like to get married on the boat (so you can go on fun excursions when you’re in port!), Princess and Celebrity are the only cruise lines that can do marriages at sea.
2) Carnival is great for families with young children.
3) Holland America is very sophisticated if your guests are mostly well-established.
4) There are packages that take care of just about everything for you!!!!
Have a wonderful time!!!
