I posted on your other boarsd and just saw this one and wanted to share a pic i found that may help also if you like this look of course…………yu could put thebottle in a basket with the petals around it and the mirror under it ( the basket softens the look of the bottle i think). I hope this helps [attachment=1457258,184894]

I’d do a wooden crate with the bottle inside! Some filler around it, make it look like it was just dropped off there. Awesome idea!

I think it’s fantastic, myself. Maybe add some votives, like others have suggested, but overall it sounds like a fun party wedding to attend!

I agree with the decanter suggestion and naming the tables after the different types of alcohol. That could be really fun and get people mingling with different tables. I would only do this however if you are sure people won’t drink and drive. I have been to a wedding before where the bartender noticed certain guests were drinking excessively and talked to the bridal party about arranging rides/cabs. I would just be nervous in a situation where people were able to help themselves to the hard alcohol like that, you might have a lot more drinking and no one really having a sense of how wasted any one is. I believe that in some states if there is any underage drinking going on, the hosts can be held liable if there is an accident, but don’t quote me on that.

You could use the JD as the table numbers.

Hey, it’s different and very functional!!! I say go for it, especially if it’s a true personal touch of your Fiance

I agree with the table number ideas, you could hang table numbers off of the bottles and you could attach the escort card to their personalized shot glasses you are giving as favors.
Also, I probably would do something similar to what others are saying with flowers in the middle and maybe putting two smaller bottles on the table, like one on each side of the flowers ( and maybe mix in some votives)

Wow, awesome ideas! Thank you so much for replying! I think I’m going to add votives, or perhaps tea candles, it would definitely make it more wedding-y.
I also love the idea of putting table numbers on the bottles!
The reception will be adults only (with the exception of neices and nephew who get Welch’s sparkling cider with plastic wine glasses and are leaving promptly after dinner). We’re getting the 375 ml bottles (much smaller than the pictured Goldschlager bottle) that will serve 8 shots, to hopefully prevent excessive drinking.
I don’t envision the Jack being used in any sort of toast, but who knows what Fiance will want lol! I think it’ll just be for fun during the dancing part of the reception.

This is such a cute idea!!! I might have to steal it.
