I personally like the David’s dresses better, but I also am not a fan of taffeta, which makes me not like the Alexia ones as much.  If you like both equally I’d say go for the one that’s cheaper & will get to you sooner!

I’m not familiar with Alexia, but I like the Alexia styles better. Personally, I don’t love the straight-across strapless styles. I’m plus-sized and I don’t find that cut as flattering as a v-neck or halter. (I especially like the cut of the first Alexia dress in your post.) I also like the draped fabric detail on the Alexia skirts.

I am of the opinion that you should always give bridesmaids the option of trying a dress on before they order it, even if it’s just a sample.

Have you looked into Mori Lee at all? They have some taffeta dresses, and it’s a brand that you can find in a salon to try on.

For me personally as a plus size woman none of those dresses would look good.  They are pretty but not really made for plus size woman

The David’s Bridal F44079 is my favorite! I like the ruching and think it would be flattering on anyone, especially in black. Plus, it’s hard to beat $40 cheaper, being able to try them on, and probably get them faster.
