I was married two weeks ago and I wore this dress and absolutely loved it. I didn’t wear the petticoat because I thought it’d be too restricting.  It was gorgeous either way.  I truly felt like a princess in this dress.   The only thing I will say is sitting was hard because I wore an extra slip so dress was extra poofy.  Also there was so much train that someone stepped on it and ripped it at the reception but it was almost over by then so I didn’t get upset.

Here are a few photos with different shots of dress …

First off, your pictures are absolutely gorgeous!!  I am ordering this dress for my wedding as well, and it is nice to see the dress on people other than the models to get a better feel for how it looks(especially since there are no pictures of the back of the dress on their website!!).  I just have a quick question because I am looking to order a custom hanger for the pictures, but unsure of how much it weighs.  What would you estimate that it weighs?

I love this dress so much….I’m getting married in October 2012 and this is the dress I’ve ordered. I have a band tattoo on my left arm and hoping the bit that goes around the arms covers it. Both ladies look stunning in the dress on here and I’m hoping I do too!!!

I can’t say how much it weighs but I ordered custom hanger and it worked fine.

OMG!!! I am in love–I actually found your post when I was searching for pictures of the AA disney Ariel (201) dress. I noticed the material over the skirt of your dress looks longer than in the picture online (in the AA website picture it looks more bunched up), did you alter that at all? Also, did you try on any of the other dresses from the disney line before choosing this one? I’m having a hard time after seeing your picture if I like yours or this one better!!:

…Any thoughts?? (I am 5’8)

I almost bought this dress! My mom was absolutely in love with it and ready to buy it on the spot. Belle was my favourite princess when I was a little girl and she thought it looked so cute on me – but I didn’t want to look “cute” on my wedding day, I look young enough as it is! It looks stunning on you though 🙂

PS – if anyone is wondering about this dress, it shapes your waist like you wouldn’t BELIEVE lol most figure-flattering dress I tried on, hands down!

@jclark9235:  Oh, I never thought of doing that! Do you have pictures of yourself in the de-poofified dress? 🙂

Hey dress twins!  I have a quick question (not related to shoes).  I barely fit into the Size 10, so I want to go up to the 12, which is just a little loose.  Did anyone else have to up a little and get the top of the dress taken in?  I am concerned about it being able to be altered on top because of the beading details.  I have asked at the Alfred Angelo stores and the answers have been vague and unhelpful, so I thought dress twins might be able to help.

So I was just wondering what you were doing as far as a slip goes if you have the belle 2012 dress (217)?  I tried on my dress at the alfred angelo store with whatever slip she gave me, but I bought my dress pre-owned online, so now I have no idea what go get for the slip (which I am also trying to find online).

@ChristineS86:  Do you have the style number for those Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.  I am doing the other Belle dress (Belle Platinum 217 from AA) and I can’t figure out Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses at all.
