This is a dress that I think would look great on some people but not so hot on others.  Definitely see if you can try it on!  It may look great on you but it’s hard to tell unless you try it on!

I’m wearing Alfred Angelo style 2100.  It looks terrible on the website model, but as soon as I saw the dark ivory version on the manequin i had to try it on.  I love it!

I think it’s a lovely dress, but you should definitely do what you can to try before you buy.  Call around to as many shops as you can to see who has a sample close to your size – you don’t have to end up buying from the shop.  If not, maybe start looking for something similar in shape/material at least to get a feel for it.  Wedding dresses can be funny….  I absolutely HATED my dress (AA #1148) when I saw it on the hanger, and it didn’t even come close to catching my eye when I was looking on the AA website prior to shopping.  BUT I tried it on anyway (it was one of the few non-strapless options at the tiny shop I first went to), and I loved it!  Recently, I looked at it on the website and freaked out b/c I thought “OMFG, I don’t like this dress!”  I went the next week to try it on again & turns out I just really didn’t like it on the model on AA’s website.  😉

This dress is lovely! The bow in the back is gorgeous and will be a beautiful focal point during your vows. A large detail like that (in the proper proportion) will absolutley flatter any figure! Just make sure you buy the gown to your proper bust size!

Does the bow come in other colors?
