I bought my dress about 6 months ago but THENN I discovered the Alfred Angelo Disney collection and couldn’t stop thinking about it. I found the Cinderella for a STEAL on Ebay, it was in my size and the auction was ending in half an hour so I took a risk & went for it. It just arrived in perfect condition and it fits and it’s beautiful and amazing except for one thing.
IT DOESN’T HAVE GLITTERY TULLE AT THE BOTTOM!
Does anyone have any experiences with alterations beyond just sizing? I’m guess it would be insanely expensive to add some bling to a dress? I’m so bummed out!

@kmort222: That’s awful. Did the listing mention anything about the missing tulle? If not, I would definitely get a refund.
Cinderella was my dress, the sparkle just makes it that much more special. I hope you can find it again but with the sparkle!

@Lyndzo: No, it was a private seller. (A man selling his ex wife’s dress). It looked sparkly in the pic and I didn’t know it came without the glitter at the time.
My Aunt sews and she said it should be pretty easy to add it though. She’s going to add more satin to the sash part and attach the sparkley tulle under it. We’ll see how it goes!

@kmort222: I love that dress. Tulle should be pretty easy to add, it’s always easy enough to remove. You should post some pictures! 🙂

Aww I feel bad for you. The sparkle is why I bought mine.

Those of you who wore Cinderella 205, how did you have it bustled in the back? I am trying to find a pretty way to do it, but I cannot possibly come up with a mental image of what a bustle would look like on this dress. Pictures would be AWESOME! 🙂

This is my dress too!!!!I’ve been in love with it since it first came out. I think it’s just one layer of glittery tulle under and over regular tulle…I would think it wouldn’t be too hard to add that but not sure. I’m curious about the bustle too!
