I saw an AA dress in a free copy of a magazine they had at work.  I fell in LOVE with it, (before FH even propsed!) and spent two hours or so online trying to track down the information on it, (was an ad for a bridal shop, and had no info on the dress itself).  When I found out the had it in other colors, I was even more thrilled!  And the best part is, it was very reasonably priced for a wedding dress, (after all, I’ll be wearing it once, maybe twice if we do pictures).

Once he propsed, it was the first dress I tried on, (because I knew what I wanted, hehe), and the one I ended up buying.  I like that they have a lot of colors available to coordinate the BMs and FGs too, (my dress is ivory with green trim, and BMs are the same green with an ivory sash).

Did you get in to try on any AA dresses?  What did YOU think?

i was almost an AA bride — picked out my dress already (1516 in black) but unfortunately after the recession hit home, we ended up downsizing the venue & guestlist so a ballgown style dress was totally out of the question.

i found that AA dresses were of great quality for the price, and unlike DB, i had excellent service and the staff were always so helpful, accomodating and never pushy.

although i ultimately ended up with a different (simpler) dress, i was very pleased with my AA experience!

I’m an AA bride – the Alfred Angelo store I went to in Allentown, PA was beautiful and all of the salespeople were so helpful and not pushy at all.  The dress I ended up buying was one that I didn’t pick out myself – my saleslady picked it out and it was exactly what I was looking for. I love it!  The quality of the dress and fabric is wonderful and the price was right too.  Here is my dress, front and back:

I am an AA bride as well! I am wearing the AA 1136. It is very flattering as I am a plus sized bride (size 18).

The ‘boobage’ area is amazing, lots of glitter and really great!  I am wearing a turquoise crinoline under the dress.

I was in a wedding where the Alfred Angelo dreses ended up being a nightmare. They sent the wrong sizes several times!

That said, AA does make some gorgeous gowns and really adoreable bridesmaid dresses. The bride used this tool for matching Alfred Angelo dresses , and the guys ties matched perfectly! It ended up being a gorgeous wedding.
