I ordered an alfred angelo in a size 18. They had a great selection of dresses in all sizes. I ordered the 2119. I LOVE it. I do have to tell you that you should try on some maggie sottero dresses. They do wonders on us plus size girls… I had a few of hers I loved but went with the AA dress. Let us know how it goes!

Alfred Angelo has a lot of fantastic dresses for plus sized women. I wish I had pics to show you the one’s I tried on, but my mom still uses film. lol. Just keep in mind to try on everything because you never know. You could hate it on the hanger but look stunning in it.

I too tried on a BUNCH of dresses at AA and I am a 24/26.  I am enclosing a few i tried on…I am still undecided but will be getting my dress in approx 6 mths….so i have some time 😉  You will like the AA experience.  I head Maggie dresses are great too–just wish I could find stores with big sizes!!

This one I love but must A-Make into a sweetheart neckline and B- MUST add a sash…I prefer a blingy one 😉

I’m 18-20 and I tried on some Alfred Angelo dresses. They have some really pretty ones. I tried 2119, 2049, 2123, 2082, 1963…to name a few. I really loved 2049, but I found it was discontinued and I didn’t want to have buy the sample. If you want to try on some AA dresses, go to AA store because they will have a wide variety in your size. I liked several of them, but decided to go with a Mori Lee instead.

I’m going to order mine tomorrow! Alfred Angelo 2082W. I’m a street size 24 and I HIGHLY suggest trying on this dress if you can. I didn’t have high hopes for my wedding dress since I rarely feel comfortable in form fitting clothes but this dress makes me feel (and look) fabulous!

My consultant didn’t pull the back piece up as far as she should have. Thats why it looks all funky.

@akziggy3: they have so many sashes at Alfred Angelo, with bling, plain and different colors.  i found a couple more i tried on from AA.  i ended up purchasing a Mon Cheri dress.

again, ignore the bra sraps and weird faces!

I went to a few different places to try on dresses and one of them was AA. I ended up falling in love with style 2119 and ordering it. They, by far, had the best selection of dresses and didn’t really bat an eye at my size (I’m an 18W). Good luck!

I had tried on one in an 18W and a 20 (NOT a 20W, but fit too).  my man is on this site so I can’t post them.  But they are great.  You can also check out Jordan dresses as they are in womans sizes as well.

I wanna know where in Phoenix can I try on Alfred Angelo?  Does anyone know?  there are a few styles I like.  But I cannot seem to find a salon in town that has them in plus size…

any ideas?

@floridabride12: Thanks! I never thought that I would find a dress that made me look so slim. I always assumed that I would just settle for the best of the worst since I rarely think I look good in anything. I knew the second I looked in that mirror that this was my dress.
