To answer your request: I went to a store that sold AA dresses (but not an AA store) and they gave me a tiny swatch of material for free – you might want to try that route.

But, a bit of unsoliticited advice: I got my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from AA (from an actual AA store, not a secondary retailer).  I was really displeased with the service.  I was told the dresses would take 6 weeks (max) to get to the store.  All in all, it took 4 months to get the dresses in (the last dress only came in last week).  As you can imagine, this caused me a lot of stress.  When I went to post my reviews online, I found that many other girls had the same issue.  Wish I would have checked those reviews before we bought the dresses!  Becuase of this, I would not reccommend AA to anyone.

My cousin had the same problem as @Rock Hugger. She needed a swatch from AA and they balked and argued until they finally gave her a TINY (literally, it was about the size of my .25 ct diamond) swatch. She said that getting the dresses from there was a HUGE pain and very stressful for her and her BMs.

One of my girls has ordered an Alfred Angelo dress, we were told a minimum of 4 months to come in and when I went to my bridal salon they gave me as many swatches of the colour as I wanted. Maybe it’s more of an issue with the salon your ordered them from?

If you still need a swatch card, I have one, PM me if you are still interested in purchasing. I’m sure everyone’s experiences are different, but I got both my dress and Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from AA and have had great service throughout the process.

I also got my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses through AA, and my experience was fine. I bought a swatch card and could send the colors your need. I still have most of them. PM me if you’d like.

If my girls hadn’t fallen in love with one of the dresses they tried on at AA I wouldn’t have given them my business. Employees were so rude and I could never get consistent answers or information. My dresses are expected in only three weeks before my wedding. They refused to give me a swatch, saying it wasn’t something they offered, so I emailed the company and they mailed me a decent size one for free- I’d give that a try!

Huh…I have a book with all the swatches from there and I don’t see pewter anywhere. Did they change the name of the color?

I know when I bought my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from them, the color I picked was called “love’s first blush” but they later changed the name of it to “dusty pink”.

I asked the store I ordered the dresses from for a swatch (not an AA store just a bridal shop that sold AA dresses) they gave a decent sized swatch and they told me the dresses could take up to 4 months to come in. They came in 3 months and I had no issues at all, they are very well made and I adore the colour (I ordered mahogany)
