I thought d498 was more flattering. I’m a size 4 and d468 along with a lot of other Alfred Sung dresses made me hips look massive b/c its a 50’s style. d498 is more your traditional A-line so I thought it worked better.

My bridesmaids also tried on Alfred Sung dresses, even though we went with another dress in the end.  They tried on the older model of the D498 (I can’t remember the number, but it had a bow instead of the flower) and I brought my size 12 Bridesmaid or Best Man with me.  She looked stunning in the a-line dress, so I hope this helps!

This is the line I’m thinking of having my BM’s wear.  We have an appt in a few weeks to try them on.  My Future Sister-In-Law was liking the D468 so hopefully she’ll get to try it on.
