I use them all the time(general & wedding). It pays to look at reviews, ratings, photos from other people if there are some.

I research before I commit to buying and haven’t had any issues.

Aliexpress is thousands of sellers. You can’t generalize about them any more than you can about Ebay sellers, Amazon sellers or Etsy sellers. Use a credit card that gives you some degree of protection.

Prime rule- don’t spend more money than you can afford to lose.

Check Amazon too. I got a great deal on a veil and checked the reviews before buying.

st482 :  I use Aliexpress all the time! Like PP stated check their ratings, reviews, & buyers photos before buying. I’ve been 95% statisfied with what I’ve purchased.

I’ve bought alot off Aliexpress. Alot of it came in the mail, some of it didnt. The other risk factor is quality. I always try and look at reviews and other customer pictures.

When it comes to clothing I would not purchase (swimsuit, pants, underwear). A veil might be okay, however, it is a risk and if you do get it don’t be dissapointed that its not what you thought. You either luck out or lose money.

I use it all the time and love it. Even bought a ton of stuff for my friend’s bachelorette (including a veil and a tiara) that turned out really nice. As others have said, try to see if anyone has left a review yet, especially if they have posted pictures of the actual item. Sometimes sellers will post a pic of an original but what they sell is a cheaply made knock off. However, this is not always the case and I am more happy than not with items I receive from this site. If you dont have access to any user reviews or pics, and the veil is very affordable I say just go for it.

st482 :  I’ve never used AliExpress personally, but I used Ebay, Amazon, Wish.com, DHGate and of course Etsy to purchase tons of things for my wedding. Veil was from Amazon for $50, and it was amazingly beautiful. I would take a look there as well.

I am new to Aliexpress but I found several wedding things. I am regretting it but still hopeful. I ordered my stuff in mid October; still haven’t received anything. I spent under 40 dollars and I am waiting for two veils and 8 cuff links. I am scared because I love cuff links and a couple of the suppliers said the order was cancelled because I didn’t pay – but I did. I am starting to think I might have been taken. I wish these companies did more screening. I think Ali is related to Alibaba so I guess there are some risks. But I figured if I got the 4 cuff links I really wanted i am ahead already – but that is sad. Does anyonen know what we do if we don’t get the item (people I don’t think we can complain too much about th equality because if it seems like too much of a steal well.you pay for what you get usually. But it is wrong if the ph otos don’tmatch the item.

Chris4 :  Aliexpress is the retail side of Alibaba. One assumes you paid by credit card. Check your credit card agreement to make sure you don’t miss a deadline date to dispute the purchase if you don’t receive your items.
