I have no chill. All attempts at being a normal, sane being while TTC have gone out the window and I’m going full speed ahead on the crazy train.
So, tell me, aside from symptom spotting, what do you do during the TWW? Any thing you’d recommend? Right now, everything is exactly the same as the rest of the month for me, but I’m tempted to do ALL THE THINGS to give me something to do while I wait to pee on more sticks.

I just stare at my chart all day, input every minor hint of a “symptom” I feel into FF, and study “charts like mine.” When it gets to 8dpo, I begin POAS constantly and spend my days holding my pee sticks up to the light even hours after I peed on them, and then spend the rest of my time tweaking my BFNs on my phone to invent a line out of nothing. yep that’s pretty much my life in the TWW. 10dpo now and I’m a monster. Can’t really help you! lol

I’m resisting, but ultimately accepting that I’m on the crazy train whether I like it or not. 7DPO and itching to bust out those wondfo cheapies that just came in the mail.

Me today: I’m having heartburn… I never get heartburn… wonder if that’s a thing.
Also me: Yeah, you had chili for lunch and a huge Yeti full of peppermint tea, who wouldn’t have heartburn?!
My chances are sliiiiiim this cycle, but it doesn’t stop me from holding out hope and having all the crazies. 🙄 I hear you!

OP I can’t help you– I am a certified crazy person during the TWW, and tiffanybruiser is my enabler.
I *try* to hold off to 10DPO before POASing, my goal this month is to make it to 12.

larissakay : I’m aboard the crazy train with you too! I am just symptom spotting for now and trying to eat healthier although the exra cup of coffee today kind of went against that -_- Did you just enter TWW? we might be POAS at the same time…
tiffanybruiser : the wait for you is almost over at least! I think it’s tougher now because I will be comparing everything to the time I got my BFP with my miscarriage although people do say every time the symptoms may differ.
fromatoz : I try to hold out to the day before AF is due but my OBGYN is my enabler as she wants me to POAS before missed periods because she wants me in for bloodwork as soon as I have a faint second line.

I’m 11dpo and have peed on the equivalent of $20 by this point in my cycle. And the crazy continues to rise… I cried twice today because I just feel so down, so sure I’m not pregnant, again. Le sigh.

2dpo. I’ll be poas compulsively by this weekend I’m sure. I’ve stopped symptom spotting because it never turns out to be anything.

larissakay : I buy kindle books on ways to make myself more fertile! Haha. Right now I’m reading ‘It Starts with the Egg’, which is telling me what nutrients I need to pack into my diet and what substances to avoid to make my old eggs as healthy as possible. I’m throwing out all the plastic containers in our kitchen and Darling Husband thinks I’ve lost it 😂

I actually find it’s a bit easier since my MC, since I really had no symptoms to speak of that cycle so I know it’s all BS. But I’m only 4DPO so we’ll see where the crazy leads me a few days from now 🙄

sleepymelis : I did that a few months before we TTC because I read it’s bad. I have held onto some plastic containers in case I want to freeze leftover soup (can’t really use glass for that), but I only reheat things in glass containers 🙂 Also, cut out all soy from your diet.

feedthebeags : yeah I’ve heard soy is an estrogen inhibitor or what not. I don’t really eat a lot of soy though so I’m good on that. One thing the book said that really surprised me was that apparently receipt paper is covered in BPA?? Something about the way they’re printed in the machines? You can’t really avoid receipts but apparently you really should wash your hands ASAP after handling them 😕

I have no advice but wanted to pop in and wish you ladies luck. During my TWW I used eat all the chocolate, lol. I gained more weight pre-pregancy than during my actual pregnancy, so no help here. Fx for everyone!

I feeeze soup and stirfry exclusively in glass containers – those glass tupperware with lids. It works great! yeah BPAs are nasty… I had to cut down on my like 4 LaCroix a day for the sake of my old eggs 😉
Not in the TWW yet but despite the fact that I’m a super chill person outside of ttc, I’m sure it’ll be a looney bin around here.
Do you all cut out ibuprofen use?? I’ve read it may inhibit implantation.

KittyYogi : I don’t take ibuprofen, only first day of AF if the cramps are bad. You haven’t had your containers break though? I was always told that freezing liquid in glass is a no no since liquid expands as it freezes and breaks the glass…if it doesn’t I will sure be switching my methods 🙂

sleepymelis : Wow, I never heard about receipts containing BPA. Hearing things like this scares me because then I wonder what else I don’t know about my daily life and how it can be harmful to me -_-
