When I bought my dress I was a street size 18/20 and bought a David’s Bridal size 18 and I loved it!  I still have it and still love it for that matter.  πŸ™‚

My suggestion is to be open to trying on all styles.  I REALLY didn’t want a strapless dress because I really thought it would be a problem and that I’d be tugging at it all day.  When I tried on this dress, I liked it so much better then the sleeved options and the way it fit, I could dance and jump all around and it didn’t budge.  Have fun with it!!  πŸ™‚

My gown was a bridal size 18; I’m a street size 12/14. I’ve been about 50 lbs heavier and was 40 lbs heavier the first time I got married.

I felt amazing on my wedding day, and I love looking back at the pictures. I would like to lose more weight and eventually be in the 150s, but even then, I’d still be heavier than my husband, who struggles to stay above 145. I am very active. I run half marathons and 5ks and teach a yoga/taichi/pilates group fitness class. I have a wonderful relationship with my body, and getting all dolled up in a dress that I absolutely adored (and still do) made me feel amazing and beautiful. It’s all about your confidence and loving yourself. Your Fiance loves you as you are, so you should be able love yourself too (everyday, but especially on your wedding day).

I’m a bit bigger but here’s my dress… I chose to go with detachable cap sleeves (so purely decorative otherwise an be a strapless too) as every wedding I have been to had a bride in strapless so I wanted something a little different…

(hehe I just realised that I uploaded the pic where the cap sleeve had unclipped ooops, this was because they were too long here… They have been altered now so I won’t have any mishaps in 27 days eeeep πŸ™‚ )

Here is my baby πŸ™‚ I’ve had a love/hate relationship with this dress and have went through some dress regret, but I’m totally confident that when I put it on on my wedding day when I’m all dolled up and my hair is done  that I will feel like the most beautiful bride πŸ™‚ I’m a street size 20 and a bridal size 22

Im a street size 14/16 (australian) and i think the dress was a 16? Not really sure they never told me lol. Im still a little stressed about the back fat but i have like 19 weeks to get rid of that πŸ™‚ and OMG it needs a steam!
