All my bridesmaids wore black dresses and the groomsmen wore all black suits at my wedding ! Our colors were black, white, and dark red. We had black bacarra roses and black calla lillies for flowers. Black is my color so pretty much all close family and friends wore black because they knew me, but everyone else just wore what they wanted.  We got married in he fall so it really did look nice all together!

My cousin just went to a wedding that was “black tie” formal, and the whole bridal party (including the flower girl) wore black. They had on black satin dresses, and it was really stunning. Their colors were black, white, gold, and silver.

My bridesmaids were all in black dresses (same fabric & designer but different styles) and the groomsmen was wore all back suits with black shirts. The flowers were my pop of color, with bright pinks, purples, fuschia and magenta, orchids and roses mostly.
I’ll post a pic of my bridal party so you can see

I was in a wedding party where we all wore black. Her colors were peacock themed. Dark purple, dark blue, dark green and turquoise from what I recall. The guys all wore a different “peacock” color.

My bridesmaids wore a long black dress I knew they all had in their wardrobe. The men wore black tuxedos, with  a traditional white tux shirt, black tie and studs.

The flowers were all white including potted orchids on the tables.

@mrsg20:  thank you! they’re from DB! They were moderately priced and we went shopping for the dresses during a sale and they ended up getting 20% off and paid around $120

I went to a wedding where the bridesmaids all wore black. Their dresses were all different – the bride basically just told them to wear a black dress they felt comfortable in.

For the flowers, they each had a different colour – one had red tulips, one had sunflowers, one had white roses, there was a fourth I can’t remember… the bride’s bouquet was a mixture of all four flowers. It looked really nice!

My bridesmaids wore black.  My colors were purple and red. My dress was a silver color with a black sash but I would have had them wear black no matter what my dress looked like.   My flowers were in purples, dark pinks and reds.  I just told them to wear a black dress, I didn’t mandate anything except it was black.

Getting married May 1, 2021 and our wedding will be black tie with an all black wedding party. Our colors are black, white/greige/ivory, green and gold…it’s at a manor with lush gardens, so the green will pretty much be the greenery of the landscape.

I am tempted to have bridesmaids in ivory to match me and ask all guests to wear black, but if one person doesn’t, I’m going to have to sit them in a corner, and nobody has time for that #bridechilla

For flowers I have been looking at roses, raunculus, eucalyptus, peonies, baby’s breath and dusty miller.
