One time will looking at pictures on the internet I came across a fantastic picture of the bride and groom standing the in the middle of the church with all their guests surrounding. Of course I never saved the picture and can’t find it again. Has anyone seen something like this before or been at a wedding where they did that? I think that would be one of the best pictures of the evening and would be really fun to look at for years to come. I have no idea how you would pull this off though. Any ideas? Any pictures to share that you have found? What do you think of the idea?

We did this at our reception. I just had our DJ make the announcement and the photog took the picture from a balcony which overlooked the crowd. It’s one of our favorite pictures!
My friend is doing this at the church (like you were talking about). After the bride and groom retreat down the aisle, the minister is going to make an announcement asking all of the guests to line up in a particular fashion, leaving a "hole" up front for bride and groom. The photog will get them all adjusted from the balcony, then the bride and groom will make a grand entrance back into the sanctuary and slip right into their spot in the photo.
I think it’s a great idea – go for it!
