We’re going all inclusive at the Sandals resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. With airfare from NJ and a week’s stay, we’re just under $3000 total 🙂 I’m SO excited!!!!!

@FutureMrsBess:  we’re doing riviera maya in mexico… there are TONS of all-inclusive resort options there!  i’d check applevacations.com.  it also has other caribbean destinations and their packages include resort, airfare, taxes, and transportation to and from the airport.  last time we used them, they met us at the airport with complimentary cocktails!

We are going to couples resorts in Jamiaca! We chose swept away. I think we are paying 2600 for a week, but we chose the highest level room so I am sure there are options in your price range. I hear it really is the best in terms of all inclusive. Check out reviews on trip advisor for everything. I especially like the couples resorts because it is couples only so you don’t have to worry about singles hitting on you and such lol, and absolutely no tipping!

@FutureMrsBess:  With a budget of 2,000 and including airfare, I’m pretty sure only Mexico vacations are your best bet for that time of year. Winter months are the high-Carribean travel months and they can get quite pricey and book pretty fast. Punta Cana cost us about 3,000 including airfare (from St. Louis Airport to a mid-graded resort) and anywhere else tropical would run even more. You are able to do deposit payments via CheapCarribean.com and then pay the final total 21 days prior to leaving (allowing for you to at least book because a lot of people travel in January/winter months and you would want to guarentee your room)
