Hey Hive,
Fiance and I are trying to get moving on planning the honeymoon. We seriously have no idea where to start and its kind of overwhelming.
We’re not sure where to go, but we decided we definitely want to stay somewhere with an all inclusive hotel.
Any recommendations :-D?

Have stayed at Riu Palace in Playa del Carmen, Mexico – would recommend.
Dominican Republic has lots of all-inclusive resorts. Never been there so can’t really recommend any in particular. However, we were considering Gran Oasis Marien & Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa. Ended up booking in Aruba due to timeshare dates, but would’ve loved an all-inclusive place.

I love El Dorado Royale. It’s all adult, all inclusive, and has a great mix of casual and upscale dining options. I’ve stayed there twice in the last year. It’s very romantic, and the food will knock your socks off.
Zoetry and Secrets Resorts also have a lot to offer. But I would definately recommend that you go with an adult only property.

Punta Cana – Melia Caribe Tropical. You will find no picture that do justice to the place, it’s breath taking and you eat very good quality food. There are 14 restaurants to choose from.

Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
We went back in May and it was the most amazing vacation. They have a sister all inclusive next door called Riu Santa Fe but go with the Palace. They classify the Santa Fe as a hotel but the Palace as a resort and you will see why. Great food, amazing service, and I booked through beachdestinations.com and got 5 day 4 night stay, inlcuding flight and all taxes for about $2200 (total for the both of us). Oh and that was for an ocean view room.
I’d go back in a second!

I stayed at the Grand Paladium in Punta Cana and they have some great all inclusive resorts…AND it’s relatively inexpensive to go there.
