nina.ashton.3:  You sound like my cousin that was expecting all her girls to fly out to Miami & cover all her costs/flight for her bachelorette party that would have cost well over 1k. One thing I can tell you it didn’t happen and she ended up tagging along with a bridesmaid that was getting married a couple weeks before her and just celebrated her bachelorette party with her in Vegas, no one from my cousins bridal party went including myself. So it backfired on her where she ended up having a joint bachelorette party with her bridesmaid if that’s what you would call it, but only with her bridesmaids friends/bridal party.

So it’s not that were being “negative Nancies” it’s more like realistic Nancies. If you don’t want friendships to be ruined, bridesmaids talking shit about you and wishing they said no when you asked for them to be your bridesmaids don’t expect these girls to spend that kind of money on a bachelorette weekend.

Sounds like your trying to keep up with the joneses “I know many brides and grooms that have gone to St Thomas and Costa Rica for their parties and spent well over 1k” From the few comments you made I can already tell I would not wanna be friends with you lol

Bees look out for the next thread coming soon where the bridesmaid vents about the bride expecting them to shell out 1k for a Bahamas Bachelorette trip.
