I got my A-line, all lace Casablanca gown for 50%.  It was at a sample sale.

David’s Bridal, when I bought it it was $550 now I think it’s down to like $350.  All lace, no beading, real simple. I altered the sash and added sleeves.

Try the Blue by Enzonai line – I paid around your budget for my dress (which I recognize is much more ball gown style than you’re looking for, but they had many other options.)

I wore a fit-and-flare Casablanca 1918, just under $1000.

I got sottero and midgley’s Suzette for $1589. Sorry I can’t post a pic, but you can see it on their website!

mine was DB 9612 – $599 + about $235 to alter/bustle.

People didnd’t believe it was a DB dress, I was more concerned with not looking riduculous at age 54!!!

Pronovias makes gorgeous lace gowns. They’re from Spain, so they make all their own lace (ohh ahh). My sis just bought a stunner for $1800. Sweatheart strapless, all lace, dramatic train, really classy expensive looking lace and detail, and a tasteful shimmer from delicate crystal/beading type thing sprinkled all over the dress.

the stock photo does it NO JUSTICE! honestly i wouldn’t recognize that was her dress if i didn’t know it. in person it’s not angular like that it flows so pretty and is all sparkly in a classy way (haha).

just one example, we looked at lots of theirs and so many are all their own lace, and super gorgeous as well as under 2000.

@mepayne:  I was going to suggest our dress too but the OP said she didnt want beading. However, OP I strongly suggest trying this dress. Its AMAZING on and its incredibly light! Of course I’m biased tho 🙂

My lace gown retails for $1400! It’s Casablanca by Enzoani Blue.  I’m also trying to sell it now.

Absolutely you can.  Maggie Sottero and Casablanca make stunning all lace dresses, many under $2k.  My dream dress is still the Casablanca 1975 although I ended up with Maggie Sottero Doreen.

I got my lace dress from David’s Bridal. It is Oleg Cassini CWG464. The lace is beautiful and has 3D blush flowers that adds a real depth to the dress. It was just over $1,000.
