I found a gorgeous all lace dress. It is a mermaid dress with a sweetheart neckline and with layers of lace and organza at the bottom and light feathers between every layer. The thing is I am Muslim and need to cover my chest and arms. I have an appointment on monday for a custom build up and my dilemma is I don’t know what to do! I can just continue the lace over my sweetheart something like this:
Do you guys think this is too much lace??
The other option is to use a material like tulle or organza and add lace appliques on the chest and not to much on the sleeves.

I love all the lace! Maybe if your sisters don’t like it, you could do a sheer organza or similar fabric to cover up your shoulders/arms instead. Your body will still be visible through it though, is that a problem?

I love the lace too, especially on the sleaves, but if you feel it is going to be too much could you mix it up with a long sleved satin bolero? Would have to see them together to decide, but it could be lovely and wouldn’t be too much lace

I think all lace would be beautful! Maybe like the sleeves on Kate Middleton’s, that was gorgeous, no way your sisters can say that it is too much!

Thanks so much ladies, you are inspiring me to take the all lace leap!
Yea, I will have to wear a body tight silk jersey top under the lace so no skin shows
