Yes – for me it was stress-related. Is there anything that’s going on that’s making you stress more than usual?

If the headaches don’t go away and you’re worried it might be something serious, see your dr. I was getting worried about mine, and having my doctor reassure me that everything was fine after running a bunch of tests helped make them go away 🙂

I don’t know about the falling asleep headache, but I used to have headaches in the morning because I was grinding my teeth. I was especially bad when I was stressed. I got a mouthguard from my dentist and that took care of the headaches almost immediately.

This is just speculation, but are you having trouble with your sinuses? Sometimes when I’m really stuffed up, I get headaches when I go from sitting to lying down & vice versa. Try taking a decongestant and see if that helps.

i’ve been getting a lot of similar headaches lately, which i think are tension headaches. for me, it starts near the end of the work day and just goes all night, and it mostly hurts at the base of my neck and behind my eyes…the last one i had that was really bad went away after i used a gift certificate to get a facial–it helped me relax a lot and then the headache went away! i tense my shoulders up a lot when i’m stressed, so streching helps too….reading through this list of symptoms is how i put together that mine were stress-related: http://www.webmd.com/migraines-headaches/guide/migraines-headaches-symptoms

Yes – I get a lot of sinus headaches like this.  Also, the heat in my apt. can get so bad that I’ll wake up with a headache if I don’t leave the window open to get some fresh air.  Is your home hot/dry?  Feel better.  🙂
