@Panda_pue:  I LOVE your ring. I adore marquise and yours has such beautiful facets and a fantastic size ratio. I just had to tell you since I know us marquise lovers are few and far between!:)

Have you considered going for a ring that is 3 ct. total weight and a 2 ct. center stone?  This is what i have.  My ring is a round brilliant cut center stone and the two side emerald cut center stones are 1/2 a carat each.  I personally don’t think I would want a bigger center stone.  People can be rude and make comments about how large my stone is already.  I can’t even imagine if it was bigger.

purpledaisies:  i truly love your ring!  is it all one piece, the thin bands are they seperate or one piece?  may i ask if that is a custom design and what the center stone carat weight is?  are those round shaped diamonds on the sides?  so many questions because it is so lovely!  thank you!

lorarn:Β  Hi! Thanks so much πŸ™‚ I love it too. It’s all one piece. It’s a split shank ring, but it’s not custom. It’s the only one like it I’ve seen in real life. I keep going back to my jeweler to see if they got another setting to replace this one, but they said they never got it back. My center stone is a 2 carat oval, and yes, those are 2 rounds on the sides. The entire setting is only a half carat, so if I had to guess, the 2 rounds probably equal a quarter carat and then the pave equals the other quarter carat? Something like that! Glad you like it πŸ™‚ feel free to ask more questions if you want.
