Thank you dear.  Yours is swoon.  This one old mine cut, not like your European cut.  ☺

Honey.Bee :  This thread happened while everything was super crazy-town around here with my husband’s surgery, so I’m really late in posting. BUT … I had to hop on to say how much I love your ring. I had to go back a few times just to look at the pictures of it. It is perfect and perfectly stunning: the stone cut and color, the setting with all those intricate details. The whole thing is so lovely. It looks amazing on you, too!

mrsbbee :  Your blue sapphire takes my breath away!!!  Do you have more pictures?  A photo of the gallery?  Wow!!!

Here is my blue sapphire.  I’m not crazy about the setting, so I’ll probably do something different with it.

Not quite a solitaire, but it is the solitary stone!

longtimemrs :  Thank you so much!!!  I was searching for a setting with interesting detail in a vintage style and was thrilled to come across this one.  Really happy with how it turned out 💙.  I really appreciate you coming back to this post with your kind words and I hope your husband has a full recovery from his surgery!

Honey.Bee :  You’re so welcome! (I just had to go back and look at your pictures yet again! I’m turning into a real stalker for your ring — ha, ha!)

Thanks for the kind wishes regarding my husband, too. He is doing much better, and I think he is well on the way to a full recovery. He has to do his stress test tomorrow, and he had his echocardiogram day before yesterday. Once we have those results, we will know a lot more about how much damage there is to his heart. But he is progressing so well that we are hopeful there wasn’t much. I’m still feeling exhausted and very shell-shocked by the whole thing, but life is definitely looking a LOT better than it was a month ago!

Better late than never! This r8ng belonged to my great grandmother, and was her 50th wedding anniversary ring. It is 2 CT equivalent amethyst 😊
