(Closed) All you nurses/doctors/health care people who wear gloves…wearing your ring?

Another dr here. I wear my rings. But I’m in a specialty where I seldom even touch patients. Am pretty OCD about hand washing and gloves and gowns and the whole nine yards. I think if I worked in an ICU/OR setting in regular physical contact with patients, I’d just wear my plain metal wedding band to work. But I notice quite a few even intensivists wear rings much bigger than mine even in the ICU setting. The surgeons, though, not so much.

I just read this thread and I know of a solution for everyone with this same problem that I had! I am a physician assistant and I have to scrub everyday for the procedures that I perform.  So many of my friends had lost their rings and I was very afraid to lose mine.  So I did some research and found a product called the Ring Cling.  It is the only thing that I have found to help with this problem, and I really love mine.  I only paid $12.99 for mine about 6 months ago and it came engraved with my name and phone number as well.  Best cheap purchase I’ve made! I hope you all find it useful as well 🙂
