She actually had a plain w-band. Her marquise band was for an anniversary. I’m unsure which one. She had a great eye for bling and she wore both costume jewelry as well as “the real stuff.”

NFLwidow:  Thanks for finding that for me. I have always wanted to know what she wore with her ring. It looks uncomfortable!

Strawberryshmoo:  I so loved your setting with the baguettes on the side, and I remember feeling a little sad when I read that you had reset your stone. BUT … WOWZA! Your reset is so spectacular. It is absolutely stunning, and looks amazing on your finger. I love how it looks with your beautiful, milgrain band. Such a pretty, pretty set!!

NFLwidow:  No, I love hearing stories like yours! Your husband is so sweet to have done that for you. There’s so many stories floating around about relationships going poorly, so it’s nice to hear the opposite!

longtimemrs:  Thank you!  Wow It feels good  to have it back since it was the original setting that DH had proposed with. The baguettes are not gone for long. There will be a new stone set in there.  It’s just feels right to have the original back on (we had reset it early into the engagement because many jewelers told me I’d never find a wedding band to go with a halo ….never should have bought that line). Oddly enough my bulky milgrain isn’t too horrible with it. It was a nice treat for our anniversary and feels like new bling!

Strawberryshmoo:  You’re so welcome! I totally understand that “feels like new bling” feeling. I’ve thought the same thing about my ERing “facelift”. And, you are right: those jewelers wree totally wrong about not finding a band to go with your beautiful halo. Your milgrain band looks amazing with it. I really love the look of the whole set all together.

Once you reset a new stone into the baguette setting, I hope you’ll post tons of pics!
