if you accidently eat too much fat when you are taking it you will have anal leakage… I’d rather be fat than oozing poo

@mcklough: It would terrify me to put something in my body that has a possible side effect of anal leakage. WTF would be IN a suppliment that would cause that!??! I guess that’s why I’m sticking to eating healthy and exercising like a fiend.

So the thing about alli is that it blocks fat from being absorbed from food into the body and MUST be taken with all meals containing fat. No fatty meal, no alli. So yes, if there is a lot of fat in the meal, then because fat is kind of a gooey substance, the only place for it to go is out through the anus. Hence, getting anal leakage. Honestly, the best thing is really to diet and continue exercising appropriately. No fatty meals, no need for alli, no anal leakage.

@BoiledPNut: You should try p90x! I am not following anything on it but the exercise (screw you crazy diet!) and just eating healthy. I already shed a few lbs! Started last week at 162 and today I weighed myself at 158.8!!!! Apparently if you follow the crazy food plan and also do 1 hr of cardio 3 times a week it should shed like crazy.

I’m having great success with the South Beach diet and exercise…the only “supplements” I’m taking are vitamins and a glucose regulation supplement.

@colli459:

This is correct and incorrect. You take the pill even when your meal consists of a lower fat. ( Although I am unsure whether or not you take it with every meal, or just once or twice a day). It’s not only for burgers and plates full of pasta. It’s for just an everyday meal, for example, a home made breakfast sandwich made with whole wheat english muffin and an organic egg and a piece of ham will consist of about 7-8 grams of fat. The Alli is supposed to block 25% of the fat percentage, and in turn block calories. So, really instead of 8 grams of fat, you will be taking in 6. In fact, the Alli website actually encourages people to not eat meals with over 15g of fat because of the side effects, when eating too many fats in one meal.

So with diet and exercise, Alli can speed things up.

I will NEVER participate in a diet/lifestyle change that suggests in the packaging that I always bring a spare change of pants, and avoid wearing white, due to anal leakage.

No amount of weight loss is worth shitting your pants.
