gingerkitten:  sorry to hear that! how disappointing. Can you at least do mani/pedis and a mimosa brunch? even if funds are tight, maybe you can find a groupon deal?

I haven’t had mine yet, but I am planning a July weekend in NYC with a group of my female and gay guy friends. Most of the group is in DC or NYC, and I don’t have a bridal party so no one is obligated to come. We will do a boozy brunch or two, shop in Soho, go out dancing, and have a couple of nice dinners. Not too wild, but not 100% tame either!

I am so sorry to hear that your girls are being wet blankets. Please just close your eyes, seriously close them, ok now pretend you came with me!  We went to Big Sky for a weekend filled with a Harry Potter Honeymoon Shower, Sledding, Spa/pool day and a night out filled with bluegrass, lots of shots you have to take without your hands and many, many, laughs. You had a great time, played steel guitar and sang with the band, won $50 for the best dance moves and had the most fabulous sequin dress for 100 miles! Phew, we had fun!
