I am going for my first shopping outting and wonder what you all have found concerning taking pictures of the dresses?
I am going to PoB tonight and have no clue what to expect or even how to prepare.

They will not allow you to take pics at PoB. You might be able to sneak a few when the assistant leaves the room but they are pretty strict.

@CurlyRN: When I went to PoB in NYC they allowed photos of the bridesmaids dresses. Didn’t go there for wedding dresses so not sure if they allow that.
Most places did allow photos if I asked. So just ask. If they say no, sneak one with a camera phone while the consultant is out of the room.

My Priscilla of Boston allowed photos. Just say that you want to show your mom or Maid/Matron of Honor.
Most places I went to allowed photos except for the place I eventually bought the dress from! lol

The POB I bought my dress from allowed me to take cell phone pictures of all the dresses I tried on, but did not allow cameras until I purchased my dress.

The PoB I went to in Boston was completely fine with photos — my consultant actually encouraged it. My mom was with me and she took pictures of every dress I tried on. It was great!

Priscilla of Boston in Denver allowed photos. I took them using a real camera. None of the shops I went seem to have a problem with me taking photos at all.
