I haven’t tried on these particular styles, but the dress I bought is really similar, allure c122 (it is much more like the ruching on the ones you posted in real life, on the model it looks weird, almost like pleating.) I can tell you that I love it!  That shape/style torso does wonders for creating a hourglass silhouette, or enhancing one you already have.  Also, the allure ivory is such a beautiful color.  The satin just looks so rich and silky, the dress looks way more expensive than it is.  I love those styles you posted, I wish they had been out when I went dress shopping! So if you can make it, I would totally do the trip!

@puddingpop: I’ve seen or tried on all these dresses and personally I think they are definitely worth the trip!  Decent price range (in my area at least) and the fit is amazing.  If you like 8760, you might like 2365 too.

Another thought… some salons will request a gown for a small fee, which may be just as much or less than the cost of gas for a four hour drive.  If you decide to purchase the gown, the fee will go towards your cost.

Good luck!!

Allure 8760 is definetly worth the drive!! It is my dress and I LOVE it!! Luckily the sample gown happened to fit me so I got 20% off which made it more affordable.  Good Luck!

@avacek1: Well, hello dress twin!  I am seriously considering the same dress… would you have any real pics of you in the dress?

@avacek1:  Oh, WOW!!!  I seriously need to try this dress on again, and even if it doesn’t look that amazing on me, it’s very obviously the right dress for you.  You are glowing!!  Thanks so much for sharing, b/c the sample I saw had very sad looking flowers that looked nowhere as nice as that.  Congrats!

I just bought this dress today because I loved it (obviously)! I call it “Simple Elegence with a Flair.” I am getting married on a lake next July. This dress is not what I thought I was looking for but amazing in it’s own way. I bought it at an Allure trunk show for $620 after tax. Originally $729 to give you a guesstimate on price. Happy Hunting!

If anyone is selling an original Allure ORIGINAL 8755 I would be willing to buy it second hand dry cleaned at $500 including postage and handling to Australia. Email me at [email protected] I am an Australian Size 8, so would fit an american 6-8
