Chant88:  I really loved it too! It was the most comfortable dress I’ve put on so far. If you’ve tried on dresses you already know that even the ones that aren’t super poofy can still be stiff/uncomfortable/heavy – but this one just felt great and beautifully understated.

The store we were in is selling it for $1,015. My mom and I were both surprised because the 2716 seemed much more expensive – it had that intricate lace detail back and a fuller skirt, and that was only $690! Our consultant wasn’t sure why this one was more, but she did say that their designers set a “lowest possible sale price” for their dresses, and that’s the price that that store uses. So, you may find it more expensive at other stores, but definitely try it on if you can track it down! ๐Ÿ™‚

elombardo:  My mom keeps pulling dresses like that for me and I didn’t think I was a fan – but you look drop dead gorgeous! Maybe I’ll have to start listening to her ๐Ÿ™‚

Looks terrible on the allure website but amazing in person. It also comes in more traditional colors. The dress in the pic is mine but it hasnt been altered yet. I need cups put in and the waist taken in a little. Also, hips have to be let out a bit.

agirlnamedlucky:  i didnt think i liked them until i tried a couple on. I was originally thinking sheath or drop waist. I was open to everything. I know i didnt want a ball gown just personal style but i never got to try one on so a little bummed about that.

Chant88:  Thank you so much! I had tried on a few dresses before I tried on this one at a previous appointment and they just didn’t do anything for me. I found this beauty whIke searching online for ideas. Luckily there is a bridal salon close to where I live that carried this dress for me to try on, so I made another appointment with just this dress in mind. I had my fingers crossed that it would work for me! It was the first dress I put on and fell in love. I tried on quite a few after that during the appointment, but I was already sold! It was so affordable too! It was $690 where I found it, which really surprised me because it seems like it would be much more expensive. It’s beautifully made and I found it to be very comfortable, which was key since my wedding will be completely outdoors. I really do hope you can find a store that carries this dress for you to try on. Have you looked on the knot? That helped me a little during my search. Even if the store wasn’t very close by, it listed the nearest store to me that carried the Allure Romance line.

agirlnamedlucky:  I’m sorry the 2716 didn’t work for you, but the dress you have on in the photo is beautiful and actually looks very similar to the 2716! You will have to let us know if you end up with this dress or not! ๐Ÿ™‚
