Ceremony and reception pictures here.
Unfortunately because of the drama that went on the ceremony pictures arent as good as I had hoped. If you didnt read my first recap, our officiant was a no-show, and we had to wait around for an hour and a half trying to figure out what to do. My cousin stepped up and winged it, but of course we had no preperation, and I was close to tears, so I’m not smiling. And the photographer didnt know what was going to happen and it all happened so fast she didnt have time to prepare. But oh well.
I dont know if anyone remembers, but I was having problems with Mother-In-Law a few months ago. Basically she was trying to act like I didnt exist, and had even said that she wasnt going to get a dress for the wedding and she would probably leave after she ate. I’m happy to report that she was perfectly friendly to me (and even to my family,) bought a dress, and stayed until the end. She even gave me a hug, which I totally did not expect.
First dance. We started out dancing to a slow song, and about a minute in switched it to his favorite song, Africa by Toto.
But I had NO IDEA that he was going to bust out with some dance moves. I was just as surprised as the guests!
Dance with my daddy. Idk why, but this is one of my favorite pictures!
Cake cutting. We sucked at cutting it. The slices were huge!
We also hadnt planned on smashing it, but uh, it happened. Boy did it happen.
And I’m sure you dont want to see a bunch of random people dancing, but I cant resist just a few.
