This chop was looooooooong overdue!
Post-wedding we were moving and I wasn’t ready for a drastic cut so I just got 4 inches off in a similar style to what I alredy had, and then after the move I was nervous to just go pick a stylist, so it’s just kept growing out since then.
It was getting to the point where it was very long and unruly, and while I could do a lot with it in terms of updos and stuff, it was just starting to get boring to me.
So, I finally took the plunge with a stylist my manager suggested… and he is FANTASTIC! (Also pretty to look at and only charges $25… which totally helps!)
So, without further ado:

I missed this before. Cute cut! Had you been growing it out for the wedding?

@kaylee26: Thank you!
Yes, I did grow it out for the wedding… I’ve (almost) always kept my hair a bit on the medium/longish side, save a couple shorter cuts over the years. I don’t really like my hair “short”, but I could have got a bit shorter than I did and still would have been ok with it.
My hair was a bit longer than it is now when I got engaged, and I let it grow from there.
My new stylist seemed terrified to cut it! I told him to take off 5 inches and he didn’t believe me! He was like “You realize that’s a lot of hair, right?” But I wanted the length to be gone!

It looks great! I’ve already got plans for my PWC and I’ve still got a month to go, lol. And only $25?! Jealous.
