Just a little ranting here. I purchased my wedding shoes and fell in love, and also wanted to bling them out to match my dress. I blinged them out with some shiny beads that matches the belt on my dress, however! Not thinking in advance, the beads might not only fall off during me walking down the aisle resulting in me slipping and face planting, but also snagging on my dress and just causing a disaster.
So even though I love my shoes, I’m not going to be able to wear them now 🙁 I only paid $40 for them, and my Fiance is kind enough to buy me new ones, while I am searching now, I’m jsut bummed. But I am going to finish be-dazzling them and I am going to wear them to other events, possibly church. haha I don’t want them to go to waste and by george they’re not going to! I just wish I would have been able to contain my excitement of be-jeweling before I discovered that it might not be a very good idea. lol

Awwww, bummer! Can you wear them for the rehearsal maybe?
If it makes you feel any better, I just bought my 3rd pair of wedding shoes today, lol!

@pink.sequins: I never thought of that oh my gosh! Thanks for giving me the idea!!!! Now I’m not so bummed, because I know that I will want to buy a new pair of shoes for the rehearsal anyway, so now I won’t have to yay! 🙂 So this will be the 2nd pair I buy, which isn’t bad! Heck, I don’t even think buying 5 pairs is bad and having options! hahahaha Do you have pictures of yours?

You can find other bling-y shoes no problem. As for the ones you bedazzled yourself, I agree with pinksequins, that maybe you can wear them to your rehearsal or even your bachelorette party?
I do not know what your shoe budget is, but the Benjamin Adams Charlize shoe is very sparkly.
Any excuse for new shoes work for me

No worries! I think more girls have shoe regret than dress regret! I know I sure did! 🙂

@MASPA: Yeah I know, and I think that I will probably wear them to the rehearsal, because they are just so gorgeous I can’t let them not be worn and shown off! 😛 My budget now for shoes I would say is between $40 and $50, and below of course. I don’t want to spend a whole lot of money, because I need to still buy a ton of other things lol
@BoiledPNut: haha Yeah you’re probably right. I can’t even have a good shoe day even if I try! I always end up changing my shoes about 3 or 4 times before I leave the house, so this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who knows me! haha
