I LOVED my wedding day makeup! I always wear make up but wanted to look different… more dressed up. My makeup artist did an amazing job! I can’t reccomend false eyelashes enough!

@Ree723: My sister in law is a make-up artist, so she did mine for my wedding day. I don’t wear make-up every day, so I wanted to keep my look super natural and simple. She used airbrush and MAC products. This is an un-edited photo where you can easily see the eyeshadow. I had individual lashes put on and I had her use lipstick instead of gloss, because I hate kissing my DH with gloss and I didn’t want to remember that for our first kiss, haha.

Excuse my pimples on my chin, ugh. Stupid hormones that week…. But nothing a good photoshop can’t fix! 🙂

Sorry the first one is so huge!! I tried resizing it but it didn’t work. :-/

We did a dramatic eye with fake lashes and pink lips/cheeks. I wanted to look made up but still fresh

This is the best picture I have right now, but I did my own. I wore my usual make up, just more of everything. And false eyelashes (Ardell brand from Walgreens) without mascara made everything go pop!

Foundation: merle normal compact in ivory

Blush: Lancome blush subtil in Mosaique Peach

Powder: Cover Girl pressed powder (the compact I’ve had since high school- it’s whatever the lightest shade is)

Liner: Maybelline eyestudio gel liner in eggplant aubergine

Shadow: L’Oreal studio secrets quad in subtle berries

Lip liner: Revlon Colorstay in rose

Lipstick: Estee Lauder all day lipstick in Rosa Rosa

It held up to six or seven hours of upper nineties temperatures and Southern summer humidity very well. The lipstick had to be reapplied after a few hours from all that eating and kissing, but at the end of the night I looked exactly the same!

Here are my favorites that show my makeup. I DIY’ed hair and makeup and ended up pretty happy. If it makes a difference, I was going for “vintage broadway/ Old New York.” (We had a tiny wedding in Manhattan)

I’m also not normally a makeup wearer, so I requested something natural, just more made up. I loved it, and it lasted all day long, over 14 hours.

@Ree723: aww thank you! And yes, I bought falsies from Sephora too. Totally worth the $15 I spent on them. I’ve worn a lot of different ones throughout the years for costumes and things, but these went on easily, stayed on perfectly, and were super comfortable.
