Yes, because unless your budget is like tens of thousands of dollars (which, if it is, that’s great!), you won’t be able to afford it all, lol. Pinterest is a nice place to start and to go for inspiration, it’s another thing though to afford all the cute Pinterest stuff. Also, other guests of yours that also have a Pinterest account will probably know you got all your ideas there. 😛

kaity.velazquez:    haha! No! I already have lots of the details covered via pinterest. Obviously I haven’t chosen exactly what I want from whom, but I know the colours, the style of dresses, shoes, favours etc etc. I think its sensible to have a fair idea of your priorities and the things you love

kaity.velazquez:  Maybe it’s just me but if I were a wedding planner I’d love a client like you who obviously knows what she wants. Less work for the planner! lol You know what you want, she knows where and how to get it, it’s a win-win, really! 🙂

I didn’t hire an actual wedding planner, but my aunts volunteered to fill the role.  I sent them my wedding Pinterest to get the overall feel and look we wanted, and then we went from there.  It worked out great

I’d say go for it! If you know what you want who cares when you found it? There’s no rule that says “wedding inspiration pins only count after you’re engaged,” so just plan what you want!
