I am having THE hardest time coming up with something to distinguish the altar. I am not a fan of arches and have no other florals anywhere in the ceremony/reception. I’m making feather pomanders for the aisle chairs and rose petals lining the aisle. I’m also not a fan of columns so what’a picky girl like me to do?? I’ve been scouring the internet looking for tall plants stands but this is proving to be more difficult and much more expensive then renting some columns. My chief dilemma is what alternatives can I do/use/make instead of the typical flower arrangements? I saw an arrangement of ostrich feathers and wisteria and really liked it. I just don’t want people to come in a catch bird flu with all the feathers! lol
The first picture I attached is the ceremony room. The drapes in the back is covering the backdrop. The second photo is basically the backdrop for the ceremony. Half the room is floor to ceiling windows with a view overlooking downtown. It’s gorgeous and didn’t want anything that would take away from that too much.
Thanks in advance bees!
