Totally not helpful, as our ceremony took place inside, but I love how warm & minimalistic our ceremony was 🙂

Also, we didn’t pay a PENNY for decor 😛

This was ours – we had a backyard wedding but brought in the altar and cross from my home church!

With about $400 of materials, one of our groomsmen built this wooden structure for us. We’re putting it in the backyard of our home. Note that the large potted plants were there to cover some old gazebo hardware that we couldn’t remove.

Here’s ours. We were married at my parents’ lake house on the back patio. The stone thing in the foreground is a fountain. It was broken, so we filled it with flowers! For backdrop, we wanted something that wouldn’t obstruct the view of the lake behind us. We bought the green garden arch online and paid our florist to decorate it.
