(Closed) Alter a ring? how much for small stones

It’s going to depend on how large the stones are and the quality. Do you have any idea the size or specs of the current side stones?

@kala_way:  You would probably have to reset the stones in a new setting. It is very difficult, and probably way more expensive, to add stones and metal onto an existing ring than it is to simply reset the stones you currectly have into a different mounting.

It’s not the stones that will be expensive but the labor. It will probably be more cost-effective to buy a new setting that your center stone will fit in.
