The dress is stunning on you! Hopefully it fits perfectly when they let it out that half inch more, otherwise is there an option to change it to a corset type back so you can just tie it up rather than zip and there would be more leeway?

Maybe it would be worth getting advice from another alteration specialist.

Well you look AMAZING in the dress! I would cross your fingers that they can let it out a bit more. Corset back could work, but it seems such a waste to ruin the back (and lose the buttons). You still have a bit of time, and if this seamstress can’t do anything, I would absolutely get a second opinion.
