Wow! That’s so inexpensive!

My friend is having her dress let out a tiny bit and was quoted at $200. Yikes!

Dude! That’s amazing! Mine were $400, but that was adding cups, adjusting the top and adding a couple crinolines.

It really depends on your area, and also the type of wedding dress you have. some styles require much more work than others

I also used a seamstress who works out of her home – she altered the neckline and did the bustle – for $35!

That sounds really good!  I got an awesome deal on mine too.  I got quoted $300 for my alterations by one lady, taken in about 6 sizes, cups added, hemmed, and bustled.  Then the next lady I went to said $130!  I was in shoock!!  And then she adds “Is that ok??” after telling me the price, like she thought it was too much.  I was still so in shcoked that I just said yes.  If I had more time to think, I might have asked her to go down more, but I’m glad I didn’t now, she was so sweet too.  My friend went to take her bridesmaid dress in too (she bought it for our friends wedding when she was 8 mos pregnant) and she took it in for $10 and was done in 45 minutes which she went down the street to grab a bite to eat.
