@ticatica:  Girl, you should remind her because she made a more or less promise. This has nothing to do with what you COULD afford. It’s not that I don’t trust people, but I know especially when it comes to emotional events i.e. weddings, it’s easier for even the smartest most assertive woman to be taken advantage of, and I don’t want you to be her! You were given an offer, you take it!
