(Closed) alteration question

@hamachi:from what I know you shouldnt have to pay again, unless you have changed in size alot… did your seamstress take your measurements?

My salon (and most I’ve had bridesmaids dresses altered at) charge by time. So if your salon charges by time you’ll have to pay again. If they have a flat fee for alterations (and various tasks) then you wont.

I phoned around to a few shops in the area and none of the ones locally offer flat fees.

@hamachi:I think even if its a flat rate, and you change size, you will need to pay again… you might want to just call and ask what they recommend. I have read about “rush” fees though too, so make sure they dont add something like that if you are wanting to wait too close to your wedding.
