Happy Monday…does anyone know of a really good, reputable tailor/seamstress in Atlanta? I need to take my dress in by the end of December (I’m estimating) for my May wedding. I’m very, very nervous about taking it somewhere it will be handled poorly.
Thanks a bunch!

I had a Priscillia of Boston dress that I figured would be much cheaper to alter outside of their fancy pants botique.
So I tripped up Roswell Road to Clara’s Wedding Alterations: http://www.clarawedding.com/
She is fantastic! Really knew what she was doing with my dress. For example, she recognized the specific type of silk that apparently needs to be pressed instead of steamed. She also fixed the zipper, which came from Priscilla in pretty bad shape [sewn too close to the material, choking the teeth!].
Price was great: $228 for hem, strap length, sewn in cups, fix zipper and press approximately three layers of my huge ass skirt.

I really like Gizzelle James for alterations!
