lol definately. but get someone you trust. I had a girl take a size 10 dress all the way down to a 0 and you can’t tell it wasn’t made for her. It also depends on the level of “stuff” you have on the dress

I agree with the others that first you have to find someone with a lot of talent and second, the more beading/lace/etc the more work it will take to bring it down to size.

In HS my prom dress was mistakenly ordered as a size 17 instead of a 7. (YIKES!)  

My seamstress from home managed a miracle and it was taken in 4 days before the prom and fit my perfectly. =)
