I am panicing that my dress is way too big now. I know it can be altered but the lace on the top is one solid piece with beading, and Im afraid they are going to cut it from the side and make a seam.
Has anyone had a similar siutation to ease my nerves, if so please let me know and tell me how it looked! I ordered Allure C170

I know that my seamstress is taking in my dress, which is a tulle beaded overlay over silk charmeuse (omg, before wedding planning, I never thought I would string all of those words together in a sentence).
Anyway… she said the overlay wouldn’t be a big deal, and that most dresses are designed with less detail in the side so it can be taken in. She pointed it out on my dress and it was true. Not sure if that helps?

If the lace is over the seam they shouldnt have too. But if its to be taken in, get it done. You want to assure the dress “fits you perfect”.
