I have a fairly large chest (34 or 36 DDD) and I’ve had the same dilemna when wearing strapless dresses.  I think dresses tend to look better without a bra.  Otherwise the girls get pushed up too much.  They aren’t going anywhere with a corset back!!

Love your dress BTW! It’s very flattering to your waist!  🙂

I’ll probably end up going braless (26FF-G) and having some sort of support built into the dress if it doesn’t have it already.  I didn’t have a problem in any of the strapless dresses I tried on in the boutiques, although my (not small at all) boobs have a weird ability to flatten out and disappear without a bra, so that might be something to consider.

Your dress looks great!!!

I was thinking I was crazy for even considering not wearing a bra with my dress, but it’s a corset back and I really thought my boobs were good and secure in there without the bra.

I’m glad to hear that it’s not uncommon 🙂

I’m a 40F (sometimes G) and I ended up going braless under my dress. I was SO uncomfortable with that idea, I kept refusing to even try. But there was enough boning to hold the girls up. Ultimately, it was more comfortable to not wear a bra than it was to stuff into a bustier underneath.

Alterations A+++, it looks fantastic! I definitely think you should try it without the bra and see how it feels and looks… going braless in that sort of dress when you have the support of the corset is a perfectly reasonable thing to do if it feels comfortable and secure!

I wore a strapless bra, but my dress did not have a corset back.  I’m a 42Dirty Delete.

@littlemisst08:  I’m a size 16 and 38Dirty Delete mine is corset back and I don’t plan on wearing a bra. If you don’t want to enhance your bust then don’t wear a bra.

Since you’re wearing a corset, you shouldn’t need to also wear a bra.  Try it out first.  Walk around, jump up and down, dance.  See if you feel comfortable or if you feel the girls are gonna’ pop out.  You should be fine though.
